Last week, our UK team joined our global colleagues on September 19th and 20th in Romania for our annual sales conference.

During our time there, we had the valuable opportunity to visit both our fittings manufacturing plant and our newly established hose production plants.

The first day was open by our CEO Marcello Di Campli, who quoted the poet Shane Koyczan “If your heart is broken, make art with the pieces” to honour the great success of the rebuild of our Romanian plants.

During the days we had numerous presentations from our colleagues and agents from all of the world. We discussed our products, market trends and shared solutions that we could use to improve our services. This group experience allowed us to unite even more and get to know each other better.

Our CCO Pierluigi Di Bartolomeo said “I was probably the only one (or one of the few) who had the privilege of visiting every place where each of the people present at the meeting live, and for me this is invaluable, especially because I felt like an integral part, really like a family. Great credit goes to our Romanian colleagues who were able to make us feel at home, and I think I can speak for the entire sales network. It is also thanks to them that we were able to start again in so little time and with so much enthusiasm.”

Alessandro Verratti, Managing Director of IMM Hydro Est, with great enthusiasm for the success of the event, adds: “Now, the goal for the next period is to continue to invest to obtain a plant at the highest level of excellence, fusing together performance, quality, high safety standards and staff growth, which will guarantee efficiency maintained over time.”
